It is twilight. It is almost too dark to
shoot. The instructor believes in
shooting from sunrise and until there
isn’t enough light to get back to the
car! I’m hungry. When I mention that we
have missed breakfast, lunch and dinner,
my instructor says we’ll call it a day
when we’re out of film.
O.K… I set my tripod up on a bridge over
a mountain stream. There was a small
waterfall. Light was falling fast and I
still had a roll of 36 Fuji Velvia. With
the Nikon on continuous, I blew through
the entire roll. I sighed mightily.
“Jeeze. I’m out of film.“
His response… “Don’t worry. I’ve a
couple of rolls I’ll lend you!”
